I like coding, cats, and Miatas.
My journey with custom PCs started as a frustrated teenager who couldn't run games like Mass Effect and BioShock on my tiny laptop. That got me into PC building in 2012, spending way too much time on /r/buildapc and eventually building systems for friends. Today, I'm creating the custom PC marketplace I wish existed back then.
Buying and selling custom PCs can feel shady. Listings are often too vague and finding quality work is a gamble. Existing platforms rush them to market without considering the anxiety a customer may feel when purchasing an expensive, complex machine prone to multiple failure points. These computers can cost as much as a used car, but customers aren't treated like it.
I'm building Techsnap to make it easy to find a custom PC built by someone who actually knows what they're doing and stands behind it. Working with independent builders, I saw how much they care about both the craft and the customer, not just the sale. That's something the big vendors structurally can't offer. Techsnap exists to close that gap and give these builders the platform to show it.
I'm always seeking feedback to keep the Techsnap useful, so if you have any questions or ideas, please reach out or join our Discord.
